FLAG FOOTBALL SPRING 2026

Registration:

  • FMFI registration for the spring flag season is $50 non refundable per child 


  • Must register online. You will not be placed on a team until registration is complete.

 

  • There are no residency requirements to participate.

 

Divisions will be broken up based on age as of April 30, 2026***

SMURF : ages 5 - 7 

Junior Varsity : ages 8 - 9 

Mid Varsity : ages 10 - 11 

Varsity : ages 12 - 14

Uniform & equipment:

  • Flag football players receive team jerseys/flags and mouth guard for the season. Parents provide shoes.

Game day & structure

  • Flag football is designed to emphasize fun, skill learning, and teamwork. Gameplay will be no contact, 5 v 5, and played on a smaller field than a traditionally sized football field


  • All home games and practice will be at the Fayetteville Browns field located behind the Fayetteville Fire Department (101 West Main Street). **No sideline cheerleading for spring season** 

 

  • Games will be played on Sundays 12 pm - 4:30 pm


  • Practice will start March 18th (weather permitting). 

Parent & community involvement

  • FMFI thrives on volunteer coaches and parent support.


  • There may be opportunities to help as a coach, assistant, referee, or team parent.


  • Community involvement helps to keep cost low and builds a supportive environment for participants.
